As the producer of our school’s recent production of We Will Rock You: School Edition, I am absolutely thrilled to share what an incredible journey this has been. Over three unforgettable performances, the Yuin Theatre at the Bay Pavilion was alive with energy as packed audiences sang and clapped along to Queen hits, creating an electric atmosphere that made every performance truly special.
With a cast, band, and crew of over 40 talented students the passion and commitment on display were simply outstanding. Each member of the student team gave their all, and it showed in every scene and every note.
Behind the scenes, I was truly inspired by the tireless work of our staff. From our Director Teagan Lomax and Assistant Director Anna Smart, to our Musical Directors Ros Maher and Matt King, to Sound Manager Claire Reid, Costume Designer Anna Voysey-McManus, Backstage Manager Luke Fuller, choreographers Janette Soper and Alicia Bate, and our fabulous Hair and Make-Up Team—the expertise and creativity of everyone involved was instrumental in bringing this show to life.
I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to the many other staff members who contributed in countless ways throughout the production process. Your support, guidance, and willingness to help with anything and everything truly made all the difference.

As our fabulous Musical Producer, Belle has quite literally ticked every box, sometimes twice! From backstage logistics, keeping headsets stocked with batteries, and last-minute print runs, Belle has ensured that no detail has been overlooked. Her meticulous organisation has hugely contributed to the success of ‘We Will Rock You’.
There’s a saying in theatre that “the show must go on”, but let’s be clear: this one wouldn’t have gone on at all without Belle. Her work allowed the cast, crew, and creative team to shine, and we are beyond grateful.
Thank you Belle, for everything you’ve done, seen and unseen. We are lucky to have you!
